Bryan Talbot: Tell me a story about design

AI: Ethan: Designing has always been a big part of this show. In Season 2, we developed the computer simulation to support the “uniqueness” of the show and the animation style of the characters, etc.

What was your background before the writing and producing of the show?

Ethan: I am a self-taught concept artist who studied animation, composition, and illustration.

What made you want to go to animation school?

Ethan: I was particularly drawn to it because of the work-like flow of animated sequences. In my opinion, this is a completely different manner of production than traditional “drama” (read: voice over) films or other forms of entertainment
